Markus Co-created this show with fellow writers from The Cosby Show. The show’s original premise was to chronicle the journey of a white student (played by Marisa Tomei) and her roommate (Lisa Bonet) through their undergraduate years at an all-black college. In the first season, changes in the cast and premise were so significant the show’s creators gave up the “created by” credit. Still in reruns, now on the LOGO network.  Who knew??
